Spain, ho!

We booked airfare and a car rental for our honeymoon this morning! We opted for the non-stop flight from JFK to Malaga (seven hours — ugh). Maybe we’ll get bumped up for being on our honeymoon.

I am so excited for this trip. I keep thinking of all the suave European sandals and dresses and hats I should buy. And wouldn’t it be nice if I could wear a bikini? The weight is coming off, but oh, so slowly.

    Hello! That sounds exciting. Malaga is lovely – are you driving around Spain as well? Have any “must do” activities? We just booked our honeymoon flight as well – 26 hours there (NZ) and the trip back is broken up by a quick stop in Fiji to warm up. NZ in October is going to be chilly. I plan on sleeping and/or watching the entire Lord of the Rings movie set on the way down. :)

    We really want to take a ferry over to Morocco. I’d love to get to Seville, but we’ll see. Neither of us has been to Spain (or even to Europe!), so we’re both really excited.

    I have relatives in New Zealand, but I’ve never been. It’s on the list!
